Park House go to Gondolania!

Today saw the first of three day trips to Gondolania for the early years in primary. At 8.30 this morning, a large bunch of excited year 1 students descended on a quiet Villaggio mall to have some fun in this amazing theme park.

The students were very quick to jump on all the rides, and before long Park House had taken over the entire theme park.

If you looked carefully you could even spot certain members of staff taking advantage of the rides!

These trips are part of the overwhelming and generous support from Gondolania Theme Park. We would like to take this opportunity again to thank them for their help in this project. Of course, this part of the charity work could not have taken place if it weren't for the donations made by parents in order to send their children on the trips this week... THANK YOU!

Many thanks also to the teachers, teaching assistants and parent helpers who are to accompany the students to Gondolania this week. We really appreciate your help and these trips could not run so efficiently without you all.

3 weeks to go...!

Welcome to Park House in India! It is less than 3 weeks now until Mr Coomer, Mr Diver & Mr Funnell set sail (or flight!) to our charity school in India. We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the students, parents, companies and other key people (especially the Brennan family) for all your help and donations to the cause.

At the moment we have raised 42,000 QAR from our sponsors, and 54,000 QAR from students, teachers and parents in school... making a total of 96,000 QAR! There is still money to come in, and so we may even break 100,000 QAR.

Keep checking this website for up-to-date news and developments on the project. If we have a sufficient internet connection we aim to blog our experience during our stay.

Many thanks again, and well done to all who ran 'The Marathon!'

Mr C, Mr D & Mr F :-)
